This project involved the demolition of the Shopping Centre main entrance lobbies & facades. The replacement of same with new contemporary structures combining exposed structural steel, Structural glazing & a diverse range of Trespapanelling. An additional 20,000 ft sq of retail space has been provided on three levels. The project also encompasses the upgrading of the Oscar Traynor Road junction including the closing of an existing Pedestrian underpass and the provision of a new Traffic signalled junction layout.

• The project was completed in a live Shopping Centre environment which necessitated out of Hours working in order to carry our various Services diversions.
• All entrances were in full use by the public during construction.
• The work required significant co-ordination with both Centre Manage ment & the Tenants to ensure that footfall was not reduced.
• Programme was key so that the operations of the Shopping Centre were not affected by construction work
