This project involved the upgrade of the existing Gas System including Gas detection system in Block A&B Workshops.
Vision Contracting Ltd was appointed as main contractor and PSCS for this project which was completed on a phased basis to reduce the impact on the daily operations of the college. The works included the installation of new Argon, Natural Gas, O2, N2, Argo shield, Helium, compressed air and Acetylene lines. All of the redundant lines were removed and new gas proving panels, gas detection system installed.
A new pipe bridge was built to cater for the new lines from the manifolds that were external to the building and the existing external buildings were renovated along with a new concrete yard.

• The existing facility remained operational during the project scope. Extensive coordination and detailed planning of all works had to be carried out.
• Vison Contracting Ltd performed the role of lead coordinator for the coordination and routing of all services.
• Extensive night time and weekend working was required to ensure that the existing facilities operated as normal.
